This course has a strong focus on licensing rule requirements.  It covers strategies that will promote health and safety in the infant room.
 
Participants will understand the specifics of providing a safe healthy infant program.  They will learn about satisfying additional training requirements to work with infants. They will gain insights and understand the developmental rationale behind primary caregiver assignment as well as infant feeding and nutrition.  Participants will learn basic practices for implementing healthy diapering, handwashing, cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
