About the Course
As a child care professional who assumes responsibility for the children of others, there is never an acceptable excuse for losing a child.
When a child wanders away and is no longer under your supervision whether they are inside, or outside of your Center, they can be harmed.
Preventing children from wandering away or from becoming separated from the rest of the group will take planning and forethought on your part.

I have 15 years of experience as a child care licensing consultant and Regional Manager with Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). I also have a background in early elementary education and children’s protective services. I hold a Master of Arts degree in elementary education from the University of Michigan.
