About

The Trauma-Informed Practices training focuses on helping educators understand how trauma can impact children’s behavior, emotional regulation, relationships, and learning. Participants will explore how early experiences influence development and how supportive environments can promote safety, stability, and resilience. This training emphasizes creating predictable routines, building trusting relationships, and responding to children with empathy and consistency. Educators will examine practical strategies for supporting children who may have experienced trauma while maintaining appropriate boundaries and classroom structure. This course is designed for early childhood professionals seeking to strengthen trauma-informed approaches and support the emotional well-being of children in early learning settings.

WHAT'S UP?

WINTER TIP

Even in the coldest months, fresh air and physical activity are essential for children's health and development. Encourage daily outdoor play even during winter months.

Dress little ones in warm, weather-appropriate clothing and plan fun activities to keep them moving. By getting outside, they'll boost their immune systems, improve their mood, and burn off energy.

However, it's important to remember to always prioritize safety. If weather conditions are hazardous, such as extreme cold, heavy snow, or icy roads, it's best to perform indoor activities that encourage movement and keep little ones indoors.

RENEWAL READINESS

Many licensed child care providers get into the industry because they love children. Due to time constraints, many providers make the mistake of focusing the majority of their time on providing care leaving little or no time for administrative tasks.

Every year the weeks leading up to the annual licensing visit are filled with anxiety as providers rush to get ready for the annual inspection. Let us help!
